حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ ابْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ وَأَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ خَدَّيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ» وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ»

✧ It is as if I am looking at the whiteness of the cheeks of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as he gave the salam to his right: “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings,” and to his left: “Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.”
