حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ

عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ بَلَغَ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ؛ فَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ وَفَرْحَةٌ حِينَ يَلْقَى رَبَّهُ وَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ»

✧ From Ibn Mas'ud, tracing it to the Prophet ﷺ: "The fasting person has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. And the bad breath of the fasting person is sweeter to Allah than the scent of musk."
