حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْفَقِيهُ الضَّرِيرُ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ:

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَفِي يَدَيْهِ [ يَدِهِ ] صُرَّتَانِ إِحْدَاهُمَا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، وَالْأُخْرَى مِنْ حَرِيرٍ، فَقَالَ: هَذَانِ حَرَامٌ عَلَى الذُّكُورِ مِنْ أُمَّتِي، حَلَالٌ لِلْإِنَاثِ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came out to us with two bundles in his hand, one of gold and the other of silk. He said, "These two are forbidden for the males of my community and lawful for the females."
