حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ بْنِ بَحِيرِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ بَحِيرِ بْنِ رَيْشَانَ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ، بِمِصْرَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:
خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِحَاجَةٍ، فَلَمْ يَجِدْ أَحَدًا يَتْبَعُهُ، فَفَزِعَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، فَأَتَاهُ بِمِطْهَرَةٍ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ، فَوَجَدَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَاجِدًا فِي سُرْبَةِ [شُرْبَةٍ] فَتَنَحَّى عَنْهُ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ حَتَّى رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَأْسَهُ، فَقَالَ: " أَحْسَنْتَ يَا عُمَرُ حِينَ وَجَدْتَنِي سَاجِدًا، فَتَنَحَّيْتَ عَنِّي؛ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ - أَتَانِي، فَقَالَ: مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أُمَّتِكَ وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا وَرَفَعَهُ بِهَا عَشْرَ دَرَجَاتٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to relieve himself and found no one to follow him. 'Umar b. al-Khattab became alarmed and brought him a purification vessel from behind him. He found the Prophet ﷺ prostrating in a drinking trough, so he withdrew from behind him until the Prophet ﷺ raised his head. He said: "You have done well, O 'Umar, when you found me prostrating you withdrew from me. Indeed Jibril ﷺ came to me and said: Whoever from your community sends one blessing upon you, Allah will send ten blessings upon him and raise him ten degrees by it."
