✧ A woman came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of God, I have committed a sin in my womb, so carry out the punishment on me.” He said: “We do not kill what is in your womb for your sin. Go away until you give birth to what is in your womb.” So she went away. When she had given birth, she came and said: “I have given birth.” He said: “Go away and breastfeed him until you wean him.” When she had weaned him, she came and said: “I have weaned him, O Messenger of God.” He said: “Go away and take care of him.” So she went away and then came walking with her sister. The Messenger of God ﷺ was amazed at her patience and ordered that she be stoned. Then the Prophet ﷺ said to a man: “Go, and when she is placed in her pit, stand in front of her so that she can see you, and signal to her.” And he ordered a man, saying: “Go to a huge stone, come at her from behind, and throw it at her to crush her.”
