✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he went to relieve himself. Then he gestured to me, so I went and brought him water. He was wearing a Syrian jubba that had no sleeves, and he threw it over his shoulder. He said: 'Pour water on me.' So I poured water on him, and he performed wudu and wiped over his leather socks. Thus it became a sunnah: for the traveler three days and their nights, and for the resident one day and one night.
