حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ، نَا وَهْبٌ، نَا مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَنْ قَدَّمَ ثَلَاثَةً لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ، كَانُوا لَهُ حِصْنًا حَصِينًا مِنَ النَّارِ. فَقَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ: قَدَّمْتُ اثْنَيْنِ، فَقَالَ: " وَاثْنَيْنِ ". فَقَالَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ سَيِّدُ الْقُرَّاءِ: قَدَّمْتُ وَاحِدًا قَالَ: " وَوَاحِدًا وَلَكِنَّ ذَلِكَ فِي أَوَّلِ الصَّدْمَةِ

✧ Whoever sends ahead three who have not reached the age of sin, they will be a strong fortress for him from the Fire. Abu al-Darda said: "I sent ahead two." He said: "And two." Ubayy b. Kab, the leader of the reciters, said: "I sent ahead one." He said: "And one, but that is at the first shock."
