✧ Bilal came to the Prophet ﷺ to inform him of the dawn prayer. He said: "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." He returned to him and saw heaviness in him, so he said: "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." He went and called the adhan, and added in his adhan: "Prayer is better than sleep." The Prophet ﷺ said to him: "What is this that you have added in your adhan?" He said: "I saw heaviness in you, and I wanted you to become active." He said: "Go and add it in your adhan, and tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer."
