حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، نَا زُنَيْجٌ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ يَقُومُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ قَوْمَتَيْنِ، وَيَجْلِسُ جَلْسَتَيْنِ، كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ جَلَسَ، فَإِذَا أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ قَامَ فَخَطَبَ، ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فَاسْتَرَاحَ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَخَطَبَ
Translation

✧ On Friday, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would stand twice on the pulpit and sit twice. When he came out, he would sit; when the muezzin called the adhan, he would stand and deliver the sermon, then sit and rest, then stand and deliver the sermon.
