حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ جَنَّادٍ، نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ:
قِيلَ لَهُ: هَلْ رَأَيْتَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ فَقَالَ: " نَعَمْ، مَاتَ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ، أَشْبَهُ النَّاسِ بِهِ ﷺ، وَلَوْ قُضِيَ أَنْ يَكُونَ بَعْدَهُ نَبِيٌّ لَعَاشَ ابْنُهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ﷺ

✧ It was said to him: "Did you see Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" He said: "Yes, he died while young, the most resembling of people to him ﷺ. Had it been decreed that there be a prophet after him, his son Ibrahim would have lived."
