✧ Muawiya heard that Ibn al-Zubayr was cursing Abu Sufyan. He said: "By my life, how bad is what he says about his uncle. But I will not say anything about Abu Abdullah except good, may Allah have mercy on him. He was a righteous man. Abu Sufyan went out to his desert estate with Hind riding behind him, and I went walking in front of her, as I was a boy on my donkey. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ caught up with us. Abu Sufyan said: 'Get down, O Muawiya, so that Muhammad can ride.' I got off the donkey, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rode it. He rode ahead of them for a little while, then turned to them and said: 'O Abu Sufyan b. Harb and O Hind bt. Utba, by Allah, you will surely die, then you will surely be resurrected, then the doer of good will enter Paradise and the doer of evil will enter the Fire. What I say to you is true, and you are the first of those warned.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited: 'Ha Mim. The revelation from the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate' until he reached: 'They said: We come willingly.' Abu Sufyan said to him: 'Have you finished, O Muhammad?' He said: 'Yes.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got off the donkey, and I rode it. Hind turned to Abu Sufyan and said: 'For this lying sorcerer you made my son get down?' He said: 'By Allah, he is neither a sorcerer nor a liar.'"
