✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a bed frame woven with palm leaves, over which was a black cloak. We seated him on the palm leaves. Abu Bakr and Umar entered while the Prophet ﷺ was sitting on it. They looked and saw the marks of the bed frame on the side of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Abu Bakr and Umar wept. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to them, "What makes you weep?" They said, "We weep because the roughness of this bed frame has left marks on your side, while Chosroes and Caesar are on silk and brocade furnishings." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed the end of Chosroes and Caesar is the Fire, and the end of this bed frame of mine is Paradise."
