✧ From this mountain pass there will come to you the best of a man of Yemen, on whose face is the touch of an angel. He said: There was not a man among the people but wished that he might be from him, when a rider appeared before them. He came up to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, dismounted from his camel, came to the Prophet ﷺ, took his hand, greeted him, pledged allegiance, and migrated. He said: “Who are you?” He said: “I am Jarir b. ʿAbd Allah al-Bajali.” So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seated him beside him, and passed his hand over his head, face, chest, and belly, until Jarir bent over out of modesty lest his hand go under his waist-wrapper, while he prayed for blessing for him and his offspring. Then he wiped his head and back, praying for him.
