حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْغَلَّابِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ الْأَصْفَرُ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، عَنْ جَمِيعِ بْنِ ثُوَبَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ:

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: أَنَا خَيْرُ النَّاسِ لِشِرَارِ أُمَّتِي قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَكَيْفَ أَنْتَ لِخِيَارِهَا ؟ قَالَ: " أَمَّا خِيَارُ أُمَّتِي فَيَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ، وَأَمَّا شِرَارُهُمْ فَيَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ بِشَفَاعَتِي

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us and said: “I am the best of people for the worst of my community.” We said: “O Messenger of Allah, how are you for the best of them?” He said: “As for the best of my community, they will enter Paradise by their deeds; and as for the worst of them, they will enter Paradise by my intercession.”
