✧ Umm Sulaym used to treat the wounded in the army of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said: O Messenger of Allah, if only you would supplicate to Allah for my son. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Unays?" She said: Yes. So he seated me before him and wiped his hand over my head, then said: "O Unays, the Muslims will build cities after me. Among the cities they will build is one called al-Basrah. If you enter it, beware of its flood, its market, and the gate of its ruler, for there will occur in it sinking, metamorphosis, and pelting. The sign of that time is that justice will die, oppression will spread, adultery will increase, and false testimony will become widespread."
