وَعَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ. عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

أُعْطِيتُ قُوَّةَ أَرْبَعِينَ فِي الْبَطْشِ وَالنِّكَاحِ، وَمَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ إِلَّا أُعْطِيَ قُوَّةَ عَشَرَةٍ، وَجُعِلَتِ الشَّهْوَةُ عَلَى عَشَرَةِ أَجْزَاءٍ، وَجُعِلَتْ تِسْعَةُ أَجْزَاءٍ مِنْهَا فِي النِّسَاءِ، وَوَاحِدَةٌ فِي الرِّجَالِ، وَلَوْلَا مَا أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنَ الْحَيَاءِ مَعَ شَهَوَاتِهِنَّ، لَكَانَ لِكُلِّ رَجُلٍ تِسْعُ نِسْوَةٍ مُغْتَلَمَاتٍ

Translation

✧ I was given the strength of forty men in might and sexual intercourse, and no believer is given but the strength of ten. Desire was made into ten parts: nine parts were placed in women and one part in men. Were it not for the modesty cast upon them along with their desires, every man would have nine lustful women.
