✧ When the Prophet ﷺ fell ill, he said: "Bring me a sheet and an inkpot so I may write for you a document after which you will never go astray." We disliked that most intensely. Then he said: "Bring me a sheet so I may write for you a document after which you will never go astray." The women from behind the curtain said: "Do you not hear what the Messenger of God ﷺ is saying?" I said: "You are the companions of Joseph. When the Messenger of God ﷺ is ill, you wring your eyes, and when he is well, you ride his neck." The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Leave them, for they are better than you."
