Translation

✧ I was riding on a donkey of mine and I met the Messenger of God ﷺ, so I moved back onto the rear of the donkey and said: 'May my father and mother be your ransom, O Messenger of God, ride.' He said: 'You are more entitled to the front of your donkey.' I said: 'O Messenger of God, the donkey is yours.' So the Messenger of God ﷺ rode on its front, and I rode on its rear.
