حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زِبْرِيقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ قَالَ: نَا جَدِّي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ: نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ: نَا رَاشِدٌ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أَئِمَّةٌ، يُمِيتُونَ الصَّلَوَاتِ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِهَا، فَصَلُّوا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا، وَاجْعَلُوا صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعَهُمْ سُبْحَةً "، فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْحَجَّاجُ أَخَّرَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِهَا، فَكُنْتُ أُصَلِّي الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا، وَأَجْعَلُ صَلَاتِي مَعَهُمْ سُبْحَةً

✧ There will be leaders over you who will let the prayers die beyond their times, so pray the prayer at its proper time, and make your prayer with them a supererogatory one. When al-Hajjaj delayed the prayer beyond its times, I used to pray the prayer at its proper time, and make my prayer with them a supererogatory one.
