✧ A bedouin came to Abu Hurayrah and said: "O Abu Hurayrah, narrate to us from the Prophet ﷺ," and he repeated it to him three times. Abu Hurayrah did not answer him, poking the ground with a stick he had, not turning to him. When the bedouin saw that, he turned away. Abu Hurayrah said: "Bring the man back to me." When he returned, he said: "Sit." Then he said: "A bedouin like the other one came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while the Prophet ﷺ was poking the ground with a stick of his as you saw me poking. He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, curse the people of Yemen,' three times, and he remained silent about him as I did with you. Then the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Where is this questioner who asked me to curse the people of Yemen?' The man stood up to him, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni, and I find the breath of your Lord from the direction of Yemen. Indeed, disbelief, wickedness, and hardness of heart are among the camel-herders, the owners of hair and wool, whom Satan comes upon at the rear of camels.' The man stood up angry and said: 'Come back to me and I will tell you more.'"
