✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked about the companions of the elevations (al-A'raf). He replied: "They are men who were killed in the cause of Allah while they were disobedient to their fathers. Their martyrdom prevented them from entering the Fire, and their disobedience prevented them from entering Paradise. So they will be upon a wall between Paradise and the Fire until their flesh and fat wither away, until Allah finishes accounting for the creatures. When Allah finishes accounting for His creatures and none remain but them, Allah will envelop them with His mercy and admit them into Paradise by His mercy."
