✧ May Allah protect you from rulers who will come after me. I said: O Messenger of Allah, and what is that? He said: Whoever enters upon them, confirms their lies, and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Pond. But whoever does not enter upon them, does not confirm their lies, and does not help them in their wrongdoing, that one is of me and I am of him, and he will come to me at my Pond. No flesh that grows from ill-gotten gains will enter Paradise; every flesh that grows from ill-gotten gains, the Fire is more worthy of it. People go forth in the morning: one sells himself and destroys it, and one ransoms himself and sets it free. Prayer is a proof, fasting is a shield, and charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.
