  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationHishām b. ʿUrwah narrated it from his father, and there is disagreement about it from him. ʿAmr b. Muḥammad b. ʿArʿarah, who is the brother of Ibrāhīm and has two or three hadiths, narrated it from Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan al-Wāsiṭī, who is not problematic (lā baʾsa bihi), from Hishām, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, as a raised report (marfūʿ). But others narrate it from Hishām, from a man, from Abū Hurayrah, as a halted report (mawqūf). The halted report from Abū Hurayrah is the correct one.

  • Abū al-Ḥasan Nur al-Dīn ʿAlī b. Abi Bakr al-Haythamī

machine translationIn it is ʿAlī b. Saʿīd b. Bashīr, who is lenient in reliability (layyin), though Ibn Daqīq al-ʿĪd reported that he was declared trustworthy. As for Muḥammad b. ʿArʿarah b. Yazīd, I did not know him. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Ṣaḥīḥ.
