✧ A skin of wine was given as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ after it had been forbidden. When it was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, he said, “Wine has indeed been forbidden.” Some of them said, “If only they sold it and gave its price to the poor Muslims.” The Prophet ﷺ ordered it to be poured out in one of the valleys of Madinah, and he said: “May God curse the Jews; their fats were forbidden to them, so they sold them and consumed their prices.”
