حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ ؓ يَقُولُ

قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ فُلاَنًا أَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَّلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا

Translation

I heard ʿUmar saying, "May Allah Curse so-and-so! Doesn't he know that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'May Allah curse the Jews for, though they were forbidden (to eat) fat, they liquefied it and sold it. "
