✧ ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn al-Ṣūfī al-Baghdādī

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الصُّوفِيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ قَالَ: نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ وَاضِحٍ قَالَ: نَا قُدَامَةُ بْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ بُرْدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ، عَنِ الصَبِّيِّ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ

أَنَّهُ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ وَعُمْرَةٍ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِعُمَرَ، فَقَالَ: " هُدِيتَ لِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ ﷺ

✧ He entered ihram for Hajj and Umrah. He mentioned that to Umar, who said: 'You have been guided to the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ.'
