✧ Some Arabs came to the Messenger of God ﷺ to embrace Islam, wearing wool. I said: 'I will stand between these people and the Messenger of God ﷺ,' then I said to myself: 'He is conversing privately with the people,' but my soul would not let me but to go to him. I heard him say: 'You will raid the Arabian Peninsula and God will grant you victory, then you will raid Persia and God will grant you victory, then you will raid the Dajjal and God will grant you victory.'

machine translationʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Jaʿfar al-Rāzī narrated it from ʿAbd al-Malik, from Jābir b. Samurah, from the Prophet ﷺ. Others narrate it from ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr, from Jābir b. Samurah, from his maternal uncle Nāfiʿ b. ʿUtbah b. Abī Waqqāṣ, and this is the correct (ṣawāb) version.
