وَبِهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ ابْنَةِ عُمَرَ قَالَتْ:

سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ قَتْلًا فِي سَبِيلِكَ، وَوَفَاةً فِي بَلَدِ نَبِيِّكَ، قُلْتُ: وَأَنَّى يَكُونُ هَذَا ؟ قَالَ: " يَأْتِي بِهِ اللهُ إِذَا شَاءَ

    رواه زيد بن أسلم واختلف عنه فرواه روح بن القاسم وحفص بن ميسرة عن زيد بن أسلم عن أمه عن حفصة ورواه هشام بن سعد عن زيد بن أسلم عن أبيه عن حفصة والصحيح قول من قال عن أمه

    machine translationZayd b. Aslam narrated it, and there is disagreement about him. Rawḥ b. al-Qāsim and Ḥafṣ b. Maysarah narrated it from Zayd b. Aslam, from his mother, from Ḥafṣah. And Hishām b. Saʿd narrated it from Zayd b. Aslam, from his father, from Ḥafṣah. The correct (ṣaḥīḥ) view is that of those who said "from his mother."
