وَبِهِ: عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ: مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا قَالَ ابْنُ الدَّحْدَاحِ: أَيَسْتَقْرِضُنَا رَبُّنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مِنْ أَمْوَالِنَا ؟ فَقَالَ: " نَعَمْ " قَالَ: فَإِنَّ لِي حَائِطَيْنِ، أَحَدُهُمَا بِالْعَالِيَةِ، وَالْآخَرُ بِالسَّافِلَةِ، فَقَدْ أَقْرَضْتُ خَيْرَهُمَا رَبِّي، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " هُوَ لِلْيَتِيمِ الَّذِي عِنْدَكُمْ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: رُبَّ عِذْقٍ لِابْنِ الدَّحْدَاحِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مُذَلَّلٌ

Translation

  1. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ When it was revealed: 'Who is it that will lend God a good loan?' Ibn al-Dahdah said: 'Does our Lord ask us for a loan from our wealth, O Messenger of God?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'I have two gardens, one in the highland and the other in the lowland. I have lent the better of them to my Lord.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'It is for the orphan who is with you.' Then the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Many a cluster of dates in Paradise belongs to Ibn al-Dahdah, hanging low.'
