حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ قَالَ: نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ: أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ الْقِتْبَانِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ. أَنَّ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَ وَالِدَهُ سَعْدًا

أَنَّ رَجُلًا، جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَعْزِلُ عَنِ امْرَأَتِي. قَالَ: " لِمَ ؟ " قَالَ: شَفَقًا عَلَى الْوَلَدِ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " إِنْ كَانَ لِذَاكَ فَلَا، مَا كَانَ ذَلِكَ ضَارًّا فَارِسَ وَالرُّومَ

✧ A man came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: "I practice coitus interruptus with my wife." He said: "Why?" He said: "Out of concern for the child." The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "If it is for that reason, then no. That would not have harmed Persia and Byzantium."
