✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from al-Ta'if until, when he was in Batn Nakhla, the people surrounded him and crowded around him. He passed by a tree branch, and it caught on his cloak, and his cloak remained [snagged]. He turned to us with his face as if it were a piece of the moon, and as if his neck were rivulets of gold, and said: 'O people, let me have my cloak. Do you fear that I be miserly? By the One in whose hand is my soul, if I had with me as many livestock as the trees of Awtas, red camels, I would distribute them among you.'
