✧ He entered ihram for Hajj in Dhul-Qa'dah, and his head became infested with lice. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to him while he was lighting a fire under his pot, and said: 'It seems the vermin of your head are bothering you?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Shave your head, and offer a sacrificial animal.' I said: 'I cannot find a sacrificial animal.' He said: 'Then feed six poor people.' He said: 'I cannot find (the means).' He said: 'Then fast three days.' He said: 'I shaved and fasted three days.'
