✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: I broke my fast one day in Ramadan deliberately and had intercourse with my wife during it. He said: "Free a slave." He said: I cannot find one. He said: "Sacrifice a camel." He said: I cannot find one. He said: "Give in charity twenty sa's of dates, or nineteen, or twenty-one." He said: I cannot find it. Then a basket containing twenty sa's of dates was brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: "Give this in charity." He said: There is no household in Madinah more in need of it than us. He said: "Then feed it to your family."
