حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ النَّسَائِيُّ، قَالَ: نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ قَالَ: أَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ وَاضِحٍ قَالَ: نَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ. عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
الْحَلَالُ بَيِّنٌ، وَالْحَرَامُ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَهُمَا مُشْتَبِهَاتٌ، فَمَنْ تَوَقَّاهُنَّ كَانَ أَتْقَى لِدِينِهِ وَعِرْضِهِ، وَمَنْ وَاقَعَهُنَّ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يُوَاقِعَ الْكَبَائِرَ، كَالْمُرْتِعِ إِلَى جَانِبِ الْحِمَى يُوشِكُ أَنْ يُوَاقِعَهُ، وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ مَلِكٍ حِمًى، وَحِمَى اللهِ حُدُودُهُ

✧ The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters. Whoever avoids them has safeguarded his religion and his honor, and whoever falls into them is likely to fall into major sins, like a shepherd grazing around a sanctuary, likely to trespass into it. Indeed, every king has a sanctuary, and Allah's sanctuary is His limits.
