✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give me something, and I would say, 'O Messenger of Allah, give it to someone more needy than I.' Once he gave me some wealth, and I said the same thing, intending not to take it. He said, 'Take it, and keep it as wealth or give it in charity. If Allah gives you wealth without your asking for it, take it. And whatever is turned away from you, do not pursue it yourself.'
