عن عوف بن مالك
"افترقت بنو إسرائيل على إحدى وسبعين فرقًة، وتَزِيدُ أمَّتِي عليها فِرقةً، لَيسَ فِيها فِرْقَةُ أضَرُّ على أُمَّتِي مِن قوم يَقيسُونَ الدينَ بِرأيِهم، فيُحِلُّونَ ما حرَّمَ الله؛ وَيُحَرِّمُونَ مَا أحَلَّ اللهُ".
Translation

✧ The Children of Israel split into seventy-one sects, and my nation will exceed them by one sect; there is no sect more harmful to my nation than people who judge religion by their own opinion, permitting what God has forbidden and forbidding what God has permitted.
