"From Ubayy, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the dawn prayer. When he had finished his prayer, he saw that few of the people of the mosque were present. He said: 'Is so-and-so present?' We said: 'Yes,' until he had counted three men. In another wording: He said: 'Is so-and-so absent?' They said: 'Yes.' Then he asked about another, and they said: 'Yes.' Then he asked about another, and they said: 'Yes.' He said: 'There is no prayer heavier upon the hypocrites than the late night prayer (ʿishāʾ) and the dawn prayer (fajr). If they knew what is in them, they would come to them even crawling. And know that the first row is like the row of the angels, and if you knew what is in it, you would hasten to it. (And know that the first row is like the row of the angels, and if you knew what is in it, you would hasten to it.) () And know that a man's prayer with another man is better than his prayer alone, and his prayer with three is better than with two men, and whatever is more numerous is more beloved to Allah.'"
