"إذا رَميتَ الصّيدَ فأدْركتَه بعْد ثلاثِ ليالي وسهمُكَ فيه فكُله، ما لَم يَنْتُن".
Translation
The Prophet ﷺ said: When you shoot your arrow (and the animal goes out of your sight) and you come three days later on it, and in it there is your arrow, then eat provided it has not stench. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2861)
