I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Indeed Satan sat in wait for the son of Adam on his paths. He sat in wait for him on the path of Islam and said: 'Will you become Muslim and leave your religion and the religion of your forefathers?' But he disobeyed him and became Muslim. Then he sat in wait for him on the path of emigration (hijrah) and said: 'Will you emigrate and leave your land and your sky? The likeness of the emigrant is only that of the horse in its tether' - meaning in its long rope. But he disobeyed him and emigrated. Then he sat in wait for him on the path of jihad and said: 'Will you fight in jihad? It is the struggle of the self and wealth. You will fight and be killed, then your wife will be married and your wealth divided.' But he disobeyed him and fought in jihad." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever among them does that and dies, it is a right upon Allah that He admit him to Paradise; and if he drowns, it is a right upon Allah that He admit him to Paradise; or if a riding animal throws him and breaks his neck, it is a right upon Allah that He admit him to Paradise." He said: Thus it is in my book: Sabrah b. Abī Fākih, and it is said Ibn al-Fākih,
