  • Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr

machine translationThis meaning has also been narrated from the Prophet ﷺ in the hadith of Abū Hurayrah, al-Barāʾ, Jābir b. Samurah and ʿAbdullāh b. Mughaffal, all with good (ḥasan) chains, most of them mass-transmitted (mutawātir). The best of them are the hadith of al-Barāʾ and the hadith of ʿAbdullāh b. Mughaffal, which about fifteen men narrated from al-Ḥasan, and al-Ḥasan's hearing from ʿAbdullāh b. Mughaffal is sound (ṣaḥīḥ).
