machine translationA widely transmitted report (mustafīḍ) among the people of knowledge in the Hijaz and elsewhere.

    in سنن النسائي, p. 553
  • Abū Ḥatim al-Rāzī

machine translationThis is a mistake. It is only al-Zuhrī, from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ.

    in سنن النسائي, p. 553
  • Abū Ḥatim al-Rāzī

machine translationThis is a mistake, that is, the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿUmar, both the text (matn) and the chain (isnād). It is only al-Zuhrī, from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ: "Whoever catches a rakʿah of the prayer has caught it." As for the words "of the Friday prayer", they are not in the ḥadīth. So he erred in both.

    in سنن النسائي, p. 553
