  • Bazzār

machine translationWe do not know anyone who said in this hadith, "from al-Zuhrī, from Sālim, from his father, from ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ" except Sufyān b. Ḥusayn, and he made an error in it. The memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) narrate it from al-Zuhrī, from Sālim, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ, and that is the correct version.
