أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ وَحَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ وَحَدَّثَنِي دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو خَالِدٍ وَحَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي ذُبَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هُرْمُزٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ خَلَقَ اللهُ آدَمَ بِيَدِهِ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِهِ وَأَمَرَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ فَسَجَدُوا لَهُ فَجَلَسَ فَعَطَسَ فَقَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ يَرْحَمُكَ رَبُّكَ ائْتِ أُولَئِكَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ فَقُلِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَتَاهُمْ فَقَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَقَالُوا لَهُ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ تَعَالَى فَقَالَ لَهُ هَذِهِ تَحِيَّتُكَ وَتَحِيَّةُ ذُرِّيَّتِكَ بَيْنَهُمْ

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ. Abu Khalid said: Al-A‘mash narrated to us from Abu Salih from Abu Hurayrah from the Prophet ﷺ. Abu Khalid said: Dawud b. Abi Hind narrated to me from al-Sha‘bi from Abu Hurayrah from the Prophet ﷺ. Abu Khalid said: Ibn Abi Dhubab narrated to me, he said: Sa‘id al-Maqburi and Yazid b. Hurmuz narrated to me from Abu Hurayrah from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “Allah created Adam with His own hand and breathed into him from His spirit, and He commanded the angels, so they prostrated to him. Then he sat down and sneezed and said: ‘Praise be to Allah.’ His Lord said to him: ‘Your Lord has mercy on you. Go to those angels and say: “Peace be upon you.”’ So he went to them and said: ‘Peace be upon you.’ They said to him: ‘And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah.’ Then he returned to his Lord, may He be exalted, and He said to him: ‘This is your greeting and the greeting of your descendants among themselves.’”
