أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ حَقُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ خَمْسٌ رَدُّ السَّلَامِ وَعِيَادَةُ الْمَرِيضِ وَاتِّبَاعُ الْجَنَائِزِ وَإجَابَةُ الدَّاعِي وَتَشْمِيتُ الْعَاطِسِ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “The rights of a Muslim over another Muslim are five: returning the greeting of salam, visiting the sick, following funerals, accepting invitations, and blessing the one who sneezes.”
