✧ The Disagreement Regarding Abu Ishaq

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ قَالَ

وَضْعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدَهُ عَلَى عَضَلَةِ سَاقِهِ أَوْ سَاقِي ثُمَّ قَالَ «هَذَا مَوْضِعُ الْإِزَارِ» ثُمَّ أَدْنَى يَدَهُ فَقَالَ «فَإِلَى هَا هُنَا» ثُمَّ أَدْنَاهَا أَيْضًا فَقَالَ «وَإِلَّا فَإِلَى هَا هُنَا» ثُمَّ قَالَ «وَلَا حَقَّ لِلْإِزَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَيْنِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ placed his hand on the muscle of his shin or my shin, then said: "This is the place of the lower garment." Then he lowered his hand and said: "Then to here." Then he lowered it again and said: "Or else to here." Then he said: "And the lower garment has no right to the ankles."
