✧ The Disagreement Regarding Abu Ishaq

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَوْضِعُ الْإِزَارِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ السَّاقَيْنِ الْعَضَلَةِ فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَأَسْفَلَ فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَمِدَقُّ السَّاقِ وَلَا حَقَّ لِلْكَعْبَيْنِ فِي الْإِزَارِ اللَّفْظُ لِمُحَمَّدٍ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The place of the lower garment is to the middle of the shins, the muscle. If you refuse, then lower. If you refuse, then the narrow part of the shin, and the ankles have no right to the lower garment." The wording is that of Muhammad.
