✧ The reward of spending on the wife.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ إِذَا أَنْفَقَ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ نَفَقَةً وَهُوَ يَحْتَسِبُهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةً»

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: 'When a Muslim spends on his family an expenditure while hoping for reward, it is recorded for him as charity.'
