✧ The reward of spending on the wife.

أَخْبَرَنِي عِيسَى بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ بِبَلْخٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا أَطْعَمْتَ نَفْسَكَ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ وَمَا أَطْعَمْتَ زَوْجَتَكَ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ وَمَا أَطْعَمْتَ وَلَدَكَ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ وَمَا أَطْعَمْتَ خَادِمَكَ فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'What you feed yourself is charity for you, what you feed your wife is charity for you, what you feed your child is charity for you, and what you feed your servant is charity for you.'
