أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ أَنَّ §امْرَأَةً قَالَتْ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ «إِنَّ لِي ضَرَّةً فَهَلْ عَلَيَّ جُنَاحٌ إِنْ تَشَبَّعْتُ مِنْ زَوْجِي بِغَيْرِ الَّذِي يُعْطِينِي؟» قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْمُتَشَبِّعُ بِمَا لَمْ يُعْطَ كَلَابِسِ ثَوْبَيْ زُورٍ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ «هَذَا الصَّوَابُ وَالَّذِي قَبْلَهُ خَطَأٌ» 8873 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ «أَتَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ»

✧ A woman said: “O Messenger of Allah, I have a co-wife. Is there any sin on me if I pretend from my husband that he gave me what he did not give me?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The one who claims to have been given what he was not given is like one who wears two garments of falsehood.” Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman said: “This is the correct version, and the one before it is a mistake.” 8873 — Muhammad b. Adam reported to us from ‘Abdah, from Hisham, from Fatimah, from Asma’, she said: “A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ,” and he mentioned something similar.
