✧ We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on an 'umrah or a military expedition, and we camped at a place. A man from the people came and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, if only we slaughtered some of our riding camels, the polytheists would see that our condition is good.' He said, 'Whatever you wish.' Then 'Umar came and said to the Prophet ﷺ, 'Gather their provisions and supplicate to Allah.' The people came with their provisions of flour, dates, and barley, and he supplicated over them. He said, 'Bring me your vessels.' They brought them and carried away as much as they wished, and a great deal remained from them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I am the servant of Allah and I am the Messenger of Allah. Whoever comes with these two will not be veiled from Paradise.'
